Chula Vista Nature Center

Todays family adventure was the Chula Vista Nature Center. The weather was perfect for a fun day outside and I found a great deal on Mamapedia.com for a family annual pass for $35.00. That included 2 adults and up to five children for an entire year. I snatched that deal up instantly.

We had a great time wandering around the center looking at the birds and sea life. Corbin thought the eels were “monsters in the rocks”. Ha! We saw sea turtles, fish, a huge lobster, sharks and rays and all kinds of birds including our national bird, the bald eagle. I especially loved the view of the bay as we walked along the trails. It really was the perfect way to enjoy the day and we look forward to returning soon.

Valentine Photos

Everyone loves to receive a Valentine on Valentine’s Day and this year I had a vision. I took the boys to Summers Past Farms in Alpine and made adorable heart props for them to hold while I took their pictures. Shutterfly has some adorable Valentine cards and with my gift card I only had to pay shipping. I think our family is going to love their Valentine photos this year. I’m not going to post the actual card, but I wont deprive you of some photos of our fun day.
