I love the Zoo! Today I met my friend Joy at the Zoo and we walked forever it seemed. We covered more ground than the last 3 times I went prior. It was great! We saw monkey’s, gators, hippos, giraffes, elephants, camels, polar bears, deer, and of course, the flamingos. The kids had a great time running around and exploring the terrain. By the time we walked out the exit both Corbin and Mordecai were passed out in their strollers.
I received a call from a friend last Tuesday asking if Luke was still interested in going to Comic Con. I said “YES!” and called him right away to tell him the good news. Let’s just say, he was excited. See, I actually tried to surprise him with tickets for Father’s Day, but they were already sold out. This was an even better surprise.
Luke had a great time and came home with lots of Comic Con handouts (magazines, fliers, posters, etc).
Thanks V for the free ticket!
I needed practice taking portraits and Susan was so kind as to assist me by being my model. We spent most our morning at the Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park. I love the vibrant colors they use on the tile floors, the doors, and window sills. It’s perfect for the out of the normal shots I was looking for.
